
Assessment
Assessment is unfortunately still not the common practice that it should be in the world of personal training and fitness consultancy. Whether you’re an elite athlete or a novice trainer, we believe that individual assessment is a critical process, which enables us to find out where you are physically at the present time.At Core Evolution, we’ll take the time to find out what your postural alignment is and, as a result or cause of this, which muscles are short and tight and which are long and weak. Once we have a good idea of the overall balance of your body, we can see how this corresponds to the way in which you move.
Only then can we design a truly personal training programme – one which will help to correct postural alignment, rebalance your body and correct faulty movement patterns at the same time as helping you to achieve other goals, such as weight loss, muscle toning and enhancing overall fitness.
As well as being an extremely interesting experience, the assessment will answer many questions about why bits of you sometimes hurt or perhaps don’t work quite like they should.
Even more importantly, the assessment gives us all the coordinates we need to put together an accurate map for your route to health. With this precise and highly personal map, we can get fast results and help you to achieve your goals in a safe and effective way.
As a general rule, the assessment will take about two hours.
